The reference check is performed by sending an authorization form to job candidates who then input their references’ contact information. Each reference receives a link to a job-specific survey that allows them to rate the candidate on behaviors relevant to the job. For managerial roles, an additional segment on their management skills is automatically included. The responses are presented to the hiring authority in an easy-to-read PDF format that is also attached to the applicant’s CATS record in the applicant tracking system.
